Cat Stainless Braided Hose Kit - 3406E 40 Pin - Coolant Supply Lines for #5 and #6 Cylinder

Stainless Braided Hose Kit for a Caterpillar 3406E 40 Pin ECM.  The early model Cat 40 Pin engine design flows coolant back to the 4th cylinder.  This kit allows for additional coolant to be supplied to the #5 and #6 cylinders.

Kit Includes:

• Coolant supply line from the Rear Water Bonnet to the #5 Cylinder
• Coolant supply line from the Rear Water Bonnet to the #6 Cylinder
• (3) Stainless Steel 1/2" NPT x 1/2" Male JIC Fittings - 90 Degree
• (1) Stainless Steel 1/2" NPT x 1/2" Male JIC Fittings - 45 Degree

NOTES: Kit is compatible with the 5EK, 6TS, 1LW or 5DS serial number prefix. 

Kit IS NOT compatible with a Low Mount exhaust manifold.  The turbo hot housing sits too close to the rear bonnet and does not allow enough clearance for the fittings to be installed.
