The original workhorse of the ISX line of engines produced by Cummins with CM570 engine electronics. The engine is priced outright with no core needed in return.
It's difficult to replace a tried-and-true platform like the N14 and retain customer approval. Cummins successfully pulled it off when they introduced the ISX model of engine. This motor meets the 2000 emission standard. Cummins introduced numerous new technologies that were unique to the ISX when this engine was released. The ISX took on an improved fuel delivery system referred to as the "Interact System". Instead of modular heads commonly seen on the N14 platform, the ISX features a one-piece, 4 valve cylinder head as well as dual camshafts, one for the injectors and another for the valve train. Cummins also replaced the electronics from Celect to CM570 when the ISX was introduced allowing for a 600 HP rating directly from Cummins. Ratings range from 500-600 hp.

The Cummins remanufacturing process begins with complete disassembly of every part, down to the last spring, nut and bolt. Parts are cleaned using non-abrasive cleaning methods and undergo extensive testing to ensure that they meet quality standards for reuse in the remanufacturing process.
Parts that do not meet Cummins factory standards are replaced with new Genuine Cummins Parts. Individual components are tested prior to assembly and complete assemblies must pass rigorous quality tests before they can be sold to our customers.
