Plug & Play adapter harness that adapts from Cat ADEM2000/ADEM3 (70 Pin) chassis electronics to Cat ADEM2 (40 Pin) engine. One end of the adapter harness (70 Pin) will plug directly into the engine control harness that is coming from the firewall. The other end of the adapter harness will plug directly into a Cat 40 Pin ECM (ADEM2 engine electronics).
NOTE: If your truck has factory smart gauges that run off the J1939 datalink, this adapter WILL NOT WORK. A smart gauge application requires a complete new ECM to cab harness with a data processor.
