This chrome-plated dipstick tube is a direct replacement for Caterpillar 3406E and C15 engines equipped with a rear sump oil pan. It mounts on the passenger side and includes all necessary hardware for secure installation and reliable oil level monitoring.

Important Notes:
- Compatible only with newer-style rear oil cooler bonnets that connect to the rear section of the engine block.
- Not compatible with older 3406E rear oil cooler bonnets that connect to the middle section of the block (they lack mounting provisions for the bracket).
