This adapter kit connects the firewall-mounted air cleaner to the turbo on Caterpillar C15 ACERT (BXS, MXS, or NXS) twin turbo engines.
Kit Includes:
- (1) 6" 90-Degree Elbow – Long Radius
- (1) 6" 90-Degree Elbow – Short Radius
- (1) 6" Diameter x 10" Long Aluminum Tube
- (4) CT-650 Stainless Hose Clamps
Compatibility:
- Peterbilt 386 trucks with firewall-mounted air cleaner
- Caterpillar C15 ACERT twin turbo engines (BXS, MXS, NXS prefixes)
Important Notes:
- Requires a customer-supplied air intake elbow (Caterpillar PN: 231-0346 or equivalent).
- The 10" aluminum tube may require trimming for your specific installation.
