A set of brackets specifically engineered for a secure, reliable fit when installing a Detroit Series 60 DDEC3, DDEC4 or DDEC5 engine into a Kenworth T660 or T800 truck with an engine mounted air cleaner. These brackets attach to each side of the head on the engine and provide a secure mounting location for the air cleaner to be mounted on. The brackets have been powdercoated for longevity.
Kit includes:
- (1) Left Side Bracket
- (1) Right Side Bracket
NOTE: This kit requires a valve cover with a rear blowby outlet, PN: 23522272 or similar. Forward blowby outlets will interfere with the bracket mounting.
There are several variations of OEM Kenworth air cleaner mounting plates & heat shields. This kit is directly compatible with the Kustom Truck mounting plate & heat shield PN: 22917001 (for T800) and PN: 23917001 (for T660). If you are trying to use this bracket kit with any OEM air cleaner mounting plate & heat shield, additional modifications may be required.
