This stainless braided hose kit improves coolant distribution on Caterpillar C15 and 3406E 70-pin engines by adding a dedicated supply line to cylinder #4 in addition to the standard rear entry at cylinder #6. This reduces temperature hot spots (especially under the turbo) for more consistent cooling across all cylinders.
