It is specifically designed for situations where a Caterpillar ADEM2 or ADEM2000 engine is installed in a NAMUX3 truck — these engine electronics do not transmit oil temperature data, causing the factory gauge to remain inoperative. The kit restores accurate monitoring for optimal engine performance and longevity.
