Charge and Start Harness Assembly for 2008 and newer Peterbilt trucks with NAMUX2 or NAMUX3 chassis electronics.
This direct-fit harness includes main charge wires from the alternator to the starter with over-crank protection provisions, cab/sleeper power distribution, and a main start circuit with relay. It interfaces with the engine control harness via a J144 breakout and includes a jumper plug for neutral start compatibility. It is commonly used when replacing a Paccar engine (the alternator being on the wrong side of the engine makes the existing Paccar harness too short) and during cab swaps.
